12oz it’s a 2.0 cafeteria retail format, born in Milan in 2015. It promotes the new on the go beverages trend, an habit that already Millennials and GenZ are adapting.
12oz merge the global and cosmopolitan taste of its menu with the characteristic speed of service of a traditional Italian bar. This is possible thanks to a hi-tech machine system, that allows the preparation of half of the drinks in the menu in less than 30 seconds, and the usage of high-quality ingredients. The patented technology is a grant of integrity and safety in each cup. A real must for the new normal.
12oz is created by the intuition of the Italian entrepreneur and CEO David Nathaniel, since 30 years in the luxury hotels breakfast business segment. The retail chain has an important plan of national and international expansion, with direct and franchised new store opening, also thanks to a joint venture with JDE, the second roaster company in the world and part of the international JAB Holding Company, which counts primary fast-casual restaurant brands in its portfolio. In 2018 this important company decided to invest in 12oz concept, putting lots of efforts in it and becoming the majority shareholder.
