The Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education in Portugal (A3ES) is a government administration company based out of Lisboa, Portugal. Its main mission is to assure and improve the quality of Portuguese higher education, by defining the quality standards for higher education and by promoting the assessment and accreditation of institutions and programmes.
