A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO) provides free prosthetic limbs, orthotic braces and appropriately fitted wheelchairs to CoolKids from birth to their 26th birthday, providing the foundation needed to break the poverty cycle: independence, education, and future gainful employment.
Since 2003, we have served over 26,000 CoolKids, empowering the next generation, one CoolKid at a time.
We currently operate 14 programs in 13 countries, supporting 54 clinics throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
We believe that mobility is more than movement, it's a human right.
