About A.S.G. Diepenbeek
We are A.S.G. Diepenbeek (Algemene Studenten Groepering) — the official student association affiliated with the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at Hasselt University and the KU Leuven Association.
With a history spanning 78 years, we are proud to be the oldest still-active student association in Limburg.
🎯 Our mission? To bring students together into one close-knit community and offer them an unforgettable student experience — both inside and outside the lecture halls.
We do this by organizing a wide range of activities, from social events to academic collaborations, always accompanied by good vibes and the occasional pint.
📚 Every year, over 200 new engineering students begin their studies at Hasselt University.
The Faculty of Industrial Engineering delivers more than 175 successful master’s graduates annually, across the following disciplines:
Civil Engineering
Chemistry
Electromechanics
Energy
Electronics/ICT
Computer Science
Nuclear Technology
And A.S.G. represents them all!
