Overview

About Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO)

The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) is a national organization advocating for Asian Americans (AAs), Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (NH/PIs) and the community health providers that serve them. We work in conjunction with our members and partners to offer programs and services that promote advocacy, collaboration, and leadership to improve the health of AAs and NHPIs.

AAPCHO advocates for the health needs of AA and NH/PI communities through:

• ADVOCACY: Serving as a unified voice of our membership, we share our collective knowledge and experience with policymakers to advocate for the continued support and growth of health centers that ensure AAs and NH/PIs have better access to affordable, high quality, and culturally and linguistically responsive health care.

• RESEARCH AND DATA: We conduct research to advance the medical knowledge and increase the health care data on AA and NH/PI communities.

• CAPACITY BUILDING: We provide training and technical assistance to health centers and partners to support excellence in care delivery.
