Overview

About AASHTO re:source (formerly AMRL)

The primary vision of AASHTO re:source is to be the center for promoting quality and achievement of excellence in construction materials testing (CMT). We provide services and tools through our three major programs: the Laboratory Assessment Program (LAP), the Proficiency Sample Program (PSP), and the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP). Through these activities, we evaluate testing competency, promote continual improvement, and instill confidence in the laboratories and specifiers that use our programs.

AASHTO re:source is part of the Engineering and Technical Services division of AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials), an international leader in setting technical standards for all phases of highway system development. AASHTO represents all fifty states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico and serves as a liaison between the state departments of transportation and the federal government. AASHTO’s primary goal is to foster the development, operation, and maintenance of an integrated national transportation system.
