About Albemarle Area United Way
The Albemarle Area United Way is a non-profit organization that serves nine counties in Northeastern North Carolina, including: Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hertford, Pasquotank and Perquimans.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life within these communities through partnerships with more than 20 local agencies, such as the Food Bank of the Albemarle, Albemarle Hopeline, Girl Scouts, 4-H groups, and the YMCA.
Additionally, we recently launched the Community Care Collaborative, a local community program that provides assistance to those facing a temporary emergency crisis within Camden, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties.
