Abaad: Afghan Women Forward

ABAAD was established to empower Afghan women, helping them lift their families and communities out of extreme poverty and hunger. The organization places a strong emphasis on supporting women who have survived domestic violence, and it has already identified numerous women who were previously receiving assistance from organizations that have since suspended their programs.

Our mission

ABAAD: Afghan Women Forward was created to alleviate poverty and hunger by empowering and providing women the resources and skills they need to stand on their own, support their families financially, and contribute to their communities’ betterment.

Our vision

ABAAD: Afghan Women Forward envisions an Afghanistan where women are recognized as valuable members of their families and communities and have access to resources to contribute to their country’s economic, social, and political stability.
