About Academic Opportunity of Arizona
Academic Opportunity of Arizona (AOA) provides critical educational funding to qualified students attending more than 85 schools statewide. Our primary focus is supporting students with disabilities, those facing financial hardship, and students attending donor-recommended schools.
Through partnerships with Special Olympics Arizona and the Arizona Science Center, our AOA360 programs extend learning beyond the classroom, offering inclusive, engaging experiences that support the whole child.
AOA offers multi-year, fully funded tuition scholarships and since 2014, we have distributed over $25 million in scholarships, directly benefiting students across the state.
We are recognized for educating and consulting corporations on the Arizona Corporate Tax Credit, helping them redirect tax dollars to support education. Eligible donors receive a 100%, dollar-for-dollar tax credit, allowing for a direct, immediate, and measurable community impact.
