Academics for Circular Economy

Academics for Circular Economy (ACE) is a growing international network of early-career researchers and PhD students dedicated to advancing the circular economy (CE) through interdisciplinary academic research and collaboration. Since our informal launch in 2022, we've grown into a vibrant community of over 130 members from 20+ countries and institutions, spanning Europe, Asia, and beyond. Our research covers a wide range of CE topics—from ecodesign, digital transitions, and entrepreneurship to material recovery, business model innovation, LCA, and policy analysis.
