Established in 1992 as a non-profit foundation, the Academy of European Law serves the European public interest by providing lawyers in private practice, in-house counsel, judges, prosecutors, court staff, national civil servants, regulators, staff of the EU institutions and enforcement officers with the knowledge and training they need to apply EU law effectively.
ERA is proudly supported by the EU, the 27 EU Member States, Albania, the United Kingdom, Scotland, Serbia, the German states and the City of Trier.
