ACADI - Ageing, Cancer, and Disparities Research Unit

The ACADI Research Unit focuses on improving cancer outcomes for all by addressing inequities across the cancer care continuum. Based at the Luxembourg Institute of Health, the team investigates critical points in the patient journey - early diagnosis, treatment decision-making, and active treatment - where disparities most often arise. Through interdisciplinary research combining epidemiology, data science, and qualitative research, ACADI develops actionable insights and tools to address any disparities in cancer care. Our goal is to ensure that advances in cancer care benefit all age groups, particularly the growing population of older adults.
