By caring for loved ones - something honourable and praiseworthy - many carers are at a direct disadvantage when applying for jobs against people with more volunteering or work experience simply because they didn't have the time.

We understand just how unfair this is.

We also know that this means that too many employers pass over people who would be the right hire. Previously, far too often, employers couldn't see the in-demand and job-ready skills that carers could bring to their workplaces because there was no way to credibly and professionally represent unpaid care work on a resume.
