About ACFE Cyprus Chapter
Στις 21 του Ιουνίου 2017 εγγράφηκε στην Κύπρο ως νομικό πρόσωπο μη κερδοσκοπικού χαρακτήρα, τo Cyprus Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) με εξουσιοδότηση και κάτω από τους κανονισμούς του μητρικού οργανισμού ACFE.
Ο διεθνής Οργανισμός ACFE που ιδρύθηκε το 1988, αριθμεί 85.000 μέλη και είναι ο μεγαλύτερος οργανισμός παγκοσμίως κατά της απάτης, ο οποίος παρέχει εξειδικευμένη επιμόρφωση και εκπαίδευση ως προς τις μεθόδους και τους τρόπους πρόληψης, ανίχνευσης και εξέτασης περιστατικών απάτης. Based in Austin, Texas, the ACFE was founded in 1988 by preeminent fraud expert and author, Dr. Joseph T. Wells, CFE, CPA. Dr. Wells’ insight as an accountant-turned-FBI agent led to the formation of a common body of knowledge known today as fraud examination.
The Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection and deterrence. CFEs around the world help protect the global economy by uncovering fraud and implementing processes to prevent fraud from occurring in the first place.
