Overview

About Acorn Neurodiversity

Acorn Neurodiversity is a charity in Auckland giving neurodivergent children and youth the tools they need to reach their potential. We are building a future in which all neurodiverse people can fully participate, belong and thrive.
Acorn supports children and young people who are neurodivergent and experiencing challenges related to autism, ADHD, sensory processing, developmental delays, dyspraxia, giftedness and learning disabilities. We provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, behavioural therapy, mental health services, and parent and teacher training, all in one place with coordinated care, giving every family a support team.

Acorn provides consultation to employers regarding embracing neurodiversity in the workplace to optimise innovation, creativity and productivity. Acorn also supports neurodivergent young people into training, higher education and employment.
