About Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer
The Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer (ACRTC) is a research centre hosted at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in Perth. We aim to bring together multidisciplinary groups involving RNA technologists, oncologists, consumers, and patients advocates to design, synthesise, test and improve RNA drugs; and tackle aggressive and hard to treat cancers as use cases to develop RNA drugs and platform approaches to treating cancers.
The Centre also includes the RNA Innovation Foundry (RIF): a dedicated mRNA production facility with a focus on automated high-throughput production of mRNA for preclinical experiments.
