Overview

About ACTLearn Community of Practice

ACTLearn is a Community of Practice dedicated to Learning for members of the ACT Alliance. Its primary aim is to strengthen capacity building for humanitarian and development efforts while creating and sharing valuable digital learning resources.

Established in 2020 as a collaborative learning group initially including Act Alliance Secretariat, Act Church of Sweden, DanChurchAid, Diakonia, Finn Church Aid, Lutheran World Federation and Norwegian Church Aid.

To empower staff, partners, communities, and right holders through capacity development and digital learning.

Objectives:
- Promoting Continuous Learning:
Improving our capacity to deliver meaningful and sustainable results for vulnerable communities globally, while remaining at the forefront of the latest advancements in the sector.

- Facilitating Knowledge Exchange
Creating a space for knowledge exchange, peer learning, sharing of best practices to improve programmes, projects and responses.

- Developing Practical Learning Tools
Developing practical learning resources that enhance skills and knowledge for effective humanitarian, development and advocacy work.

Activities
- Meetings, workshops, webinars, peer learning sessions
- Collaborative creation of learning materials
- Knowledge exchange forums and regional learning events

Membership
- Open to all ACT members interested in learnign and development
- You can either join as Active Member or participate occasionally as an Observer.
