Travel can be difficult for people with disabilities. Travel emergencies can be deadly. It’s not something we like to think about, but it’s true. In the event of an emergency, speed and safety are crucial to a successful evacuation. People with disabilities have enough obstacles to overcome while traveling. Safety during an evacuation shouldn’t be one of them. Our dream for ADAPTS is to have ADAPTS portable rescue sling readily available on every airline, cruise line, passenger train and bus—just like life vests, oxygen masks and other safety equipment.
