Additional Ventures is a foundation working toward a cure for single ventricle heart disease, a rare and complex form of congenital heart disease. We fund bold, transformative research — alongside community-building, strategic partnerships, and targeted investments — to accelerate scientific discovery and ultimately improve quality and length of life for single ventricle patients. We spur catalytic collaboration within the single ventricle research community, facilitate faster and better science through agile approaches to research funding, and ensure researchers have the resources needed to drive toward a cure — all with intentionality, optimism, and urgency.
