About ADEC - Action on Disability within Ethnic Communities
Established in 1982 as a grassroots advocacy group, ADEC has grown into a trusted not-for-profit organisation serving multicultural communities across Victoria. For over four decades, we have remained steadfast in our mission to empower individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, advocate for equality, and strengthen community inclusion.
We believe in a society where everyone - regardless of culture, ability, or age - has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our culturally responsive services ensure that language and cultural barriers are never obstacles to receiving quality care and support.
Our Mission
To advocate for and support one fair and inclusive community in which all people can achieve their optimum potential - regardless of culture, ability, or age.

To be the leading provider of innovative advocacy, disability, and aged care services for multicultural Victoria.
