Adkerson School of Accountancy at Mississippi State

The Richard C. Adkerson School of Accountancy and its accountancy programs have historically been one of the strengths of the College of Business. Mississippi State University has offered accounting programs since 1937. The accounting program officially became the School of Accountancy in 1978. The school currently offers a Bachelor of Accountancy (BACC) on the Starkville and Meridian campuses and a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) and Master of Taxation (MTax) on the Starkville campus. Online MPA and MTax programs were launched Fall 2021.
