Administração Central do Sistema de Saúde (Central Administration of the Health System) is a public institute established in 2007, embedded under indirect State administration, with administrative and financial autonomy, which fulfills the duties of the Ministry of Health, under its supervision and guardianship with jurisdiction over the national continental territory.
