Our Mission: Transforming lives through adventure therapy and experiential learning. A proven alternative to traditional counseling, Adventure Works is committed to offering adventure therapy services to youth in DeKalb County. The primary goal of adventure therapy is teaching the life skills necessary to become a self-sufficient, confident, and mentally healthy adult. Adventure Works provides youth, families, and schools the opportunity to experience mental health treatment in exciting and non-traditional ways. Evidenced based treatment is used while clients participate in activities like rock climbing, archery, hiking, canoeing, exploring, orienteering, and many other healthy outdoor activities that can be done right outside the back door.
