About Advocis Chapters
Across the country, 34 Advocis chapters and 3 Advocis Schools led by member volunteers to support our 7,500 members, work throughout the year to support the professionalism and education of Canadian advisors and planners; lead advocacy, financial literacy and mentorship initiatives, and foster chapter fellowship and community.
Advocis chapters are active participants in their local communities. Whether rallying advisor members to deliver financial literacy programs in schools, collaborating with local food banks and family service organizations as part of chapter events or advocating with local officials on matters impacting everyday families and small businesses, these activities reflect a longstanding core value of Advocis chapters and their member advisors of giving back and contributing to their community’s health and well-being.
The national Chapter Leadership Council, made up of representatives from across these chapters, oversees the health and direction of the chapter network in support of Advocis priorities. Chapter boards – consisting of member volunteers with years of professional practice – guide local and regional chapter activities to support local member needs for development, connection and success.
