About AEI Academic Programs
The American Enterprise Institute’s Academic Programs team connects colleges and universities with AEI’s ideas and networks. We seek the renewal of healthy civic engagement on college campuses by facilitating educational and professional opportunities for students and faculty, such as the Collegiate Network and the Summer Honors Program.
The AEI Collegiate Network is an intellectual home for current undergraduates to engage with AEI scholarship, connect with AEI scholars, and cultivate relationships with other public-spirited students from campuses around the nation and world. Students in the network have the opportunity to host AEI scholars for events on campus; attend exclusive conferences in Washington, DC; interview scholars on the Campus Exchange podcast; and more!
The AEI Summer Honors Program is an intensive, fully-funded educational and professional development opportunity for top undergraduate students in Washington, DC. This one week program is centered on daily seminars led by AEI scholars and distinguished civic leaders, and is often completed in conjunction with summer internships or fellowships. Alumni of the Summer Honors Program are automatically accepted into the AEI Collegiate Network.
In addition, we frequently host summits and seminars specific to particular topics and audiences. Examples include the Appalachian Policy Summit, Weekend Honors Programs, and the First Generation Student Forum.
