About Aerospace Cluster Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Aerospace Cluster in Rhône-Alpes is a non-profit organisation (Association Loi 1901). It brings together aerospace companies, research laboratories and training centers located in the Rhône-Alpes region (France) in a network. Aerospace Cluster aims to support Rhône-Alpes aerospace players to efficiently contribute to aerospace industry challenges by delivering eco-efficient technologies.

Aerospace Cluster members are more than 100 and represent more than 20 000 jobs, €2 billion of annual sales with an average of 45% of their activities dedicated to the aerospace industry.

Aerospace Cluster objectives are:
• To ensure aerospace activities growth in Rhône-Alpes,
• To structure cooperation and collaborative projects between members,
• To reinforce international presence of the regional companies,
• To promote Rhône-Alpes' competences and know-how dedicated to aeronautics and space

Rhône-Alpes' Aerospace industry offers a complete network (250 companies, 40 laboratories, 16 000 employees for an annual sales of €1,5 Bn). Its strategic activities areas are : Embedded Systems / Materials and Structures / Supply-chain and production.

Rhône-Alpes offers systems design for ATA 28 – FUEL / ATA 34 – NAVIGATION / ATA 35 – OXYGEN / ATA 47 - NITROGEN GENERATION SYSTEM and already contributes to all major aircraft systems and components.

Aerospace Cluster is granted by the French State, the Rhône-Alpes Regional council and the Regional Chamber of Commerce.
