About Asia for Animals Coalition
Founded in 2000, The Asia for Animals (AfA) Coalition is supported by a network of hundreds of additional global animal welfare organizations, the largest of its kind in the world.
AfA acts as a united voice for its members and appeals to governments and specific facilities opposing animal cruelty across Asia. In addition, AfA facilitates several issue-specific working groups & events to capitalize on the expertise of its network to solve the issues facing Asia's animals.
The biennial AfA Conference is the largest gathering of animal welfare organizations in Asia. Its purpose is to share information, highlight best practice and build strategies to improve the lives for the animals of Asia.
AfA is composed of 24 well-known and well respected animal welfare organizations (Coalition Members) with a shared vision and goal of improving the welfare of animals in Asia.
