About AFCA France 12mji
The AFCA (French Association for the America's Cup) was founded in 1966 by Marcel Bich. The AFCA owns FRANCE, the first French vessel to participate in the America's Cup in 1970. It is the only French sailboat to have participated three times in the America's Cup challenges (1970, 1974, and 1977). The AFCA ensures the transmission and valorization of this unique maritime heritage, classified as a Historic Monument since 1992. The AFCA is a declared association under the law of 1901.
