Amplify Afghan Women

We are a collective dedicated to supporting and amplifying the voices of Afghan women in hopes of shedding light on narratives that challenge preconceptions. Our mission involves actively creating platforms for talented Afghan women through publishing academic works, sharing with global audiences, and participating in international conferences. We firmly believe that representation matters and our platform aims to create a space for individuals whose experiences have been overshadowed by mainstream representations of the global landscape.

Through genuine curiosity and in-depth research, we aim to leverage our platform by bringing together voices from different backgrounds, ensuring a diversity of viewpoints that not only enrich academic discussions but also facilitate opportunities that can inform practical solutions.

By bridging the gap between academia and real-world application, we strive to extend our network beyond just professionals and researchers to also include the voices of marginalised individuals and communities with first-hand experiences in our area of research.

At AMPLIFY Afghan Women (AAW), we recognise that personal narratives are valuable to academic discourses. Through engagement with marginalised communities, we hope to establish meaningful connections with those keen on dismantling the political and social systemic barriers in place. This is in hopes of creating an inclusive environment that champions the intersectionality of identities.
