Association Forensic Odontology and Human Rights

Forensic Odontologists possess unique skills that lend significant credibility to the investigation and documentation of human rights abuses. Identification of human remains and 'nameless cadavers' is a Human Rights issue. Registered Dental Hygienists with a forensic background can also represent a resource in this discipline. An Association of international experts in forensic odontology and DVI (disaster victim identification) wish to promote forensic services as an aid for humanitarian action when human identification and best practice following Interpol guidelines is requested.
