African Association of Future Gastroenterologists

The African Association of Future Gastroenterologists (AAFG) is an international non-governmental and non-profit organization composed of medical students, early career physicians, gastroenterologists and hepatologists studying and practicing around the globe with a focus in Africa. AAFG is a gastroenterology (GI) interest group that provides mentorship, capacity building, medical education, research and advocacy in GI practice and related fields.

Our mission is to promote mentorship, networking, education and capacity building among aspiring African Gastroenterologists and empowering members to fulfil their goal of becoming gastroenterologist.
