About African Professionals Network Switzerland (APNS)
African Professionals Network Switzerland (APNS) is a Swiss-based Association which provides a platform to African professionals for networking, discussing pertinent issues, and to ultimately contribute to the development of each other, and to a better Africa. The Association was founded in July 2016 and officially launched in November 2017 by African professionals in Switzerland including entrepreneurs, workers in the private and public sectors as well as in the international organisations. The Association currently consists of over 300 professionals from 30 countries in Africa, as well as from other continents.
The Mission of the Association is to build an impactful network for African professionals in Switzerland. The objectives of the Association are to:
- facilitate an understanding of the history, cultures and socio-economics of our shared continent (Africa);
- develop talent and create opportunities for personal and professional development; and
- create links and share expertise with like-minded organisations.
