About African Students For Interfaith Tolerance

African Students For Interfaith Tolerance (ASFIT) is a registered non-governmental and non-profit youth-led organization working on conflict prevention, peace building, interfaith harmony and sustainable development through dialogue, advocacy and youth empowerment. It was founded on the 13th of May, 2019 after horrific terrorist attacks occurred in New Zealand and Sri Lanka the same year.

ASFIT is led by a team of dedicated and self-motivated young men and women who are working assiduously around for a peaceful and more just world. As a youth-led organization, we work with priority to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 (2015), 2535 (2020) and other policy frameworks on youth, peace and security.
