Overview

About African Sun Holdings (ASH)

African Sun Holdings (ASH) is building one of the most ambitious regenerative platforms in Africa.

Across Southern Africa, invasive alien plants are spreading at scale. They consume scarce water resources, destroy biodiversity, reduce farmland and cost the agricultural economy more than 65 billion dollars each year.

ASH tackles this crisis head-on. We secure land assets, clear invasive biomass and transform it into:

- Certified carbon credits (Puro + C-Sink methodologies)
- Biochar and biofuels
- Restored farmland for agriculture and rewilding
- Community jobs with a focus on women’s empowerment

This model turns ecological liabilities into tangible, investment-grade assets. Each hectare cleared delivers measurable environmental, social and financial outcomes:

- Water and food security
- Climate impact: scalable, verified carbon credits
- Biodiversity: restored ecosystems across degraded landscapes
- Economy: jobs created and livelihoods supported

Our work is already underway in Namibia and South Africa, delivering carbon credits, clean energy and restored land.

👉 We invite investors, partners and cultural leaders to join us in creating a regenerative future for Africa - profit and planet together.
