In Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africell is affectionately known as “Le reseau du peuple” – or “the people's network”. Having launched services in DRC in 2012, we have steadily grown our subscriber base and coverage. We are now joint market leader in the biggest provinces, including the capital Kinshasa, a booming metropolis which is home to almost 20 million people. Our geographical footprint in DRC is always expanding and in 2021 we are due to launch in three significant new provinces.
