About African Resilient Initiative for Community & Sustainable Development
African Resilient Initiative for Community & Sustainable Development (AfRICOSUD) is a youth led non profit organization that galvanizes youths ideas
and actions for communities transformation and sustainable growth.
At AfRICOSUD, we address the challenges of communities through simple and
innovative ideas by engaging youths to be drivers of change in their communities and
catalysts for sustainable development.
We leverage on the power of youths as the most mobile demography for growth, inclusive community development and social change.
Our interventions target underserved, marginalized and vulnerable communities/groups that are disadvantaged due to the cascades of inequalities that drive underdevelopment and underrepresentation.
We are driven by our passion and commitment to development by galvanizing and mobilizing citizens for active participation through empowerment, capacity building and engagement in Peacebuilding, Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism, Youth Leadership
and Development, Governance and Civic Engagement and Social Enterprise.
