AGMARDT is an independent, not-for-profit trust focused on igniting a better future for food and fibres in Aotearoa New Zealand.
With more than 32 years' experience funding and fostering research, innovation and leadership capability in New Zealand agribusinesses, we are passionate about our role in shaping the future.
We work at the ‘edges’, investing before most other funders, in initiatives that will accelerate change and benefit Aotearoa New Zealand. We will fund early stage initiatives helping bridge the gap between proof of concept and scaling to commercial level.
We identify and support future leaders who will drive the change needed for food and fibres and Aotearoa New Zealand to thrive.
And we support initiatives that contribute to a unified and aligned industry and a healthy Aotearoa New Zealand food and fibres innovation ecosystem.
