As of January 1. 2006, Maran Seafood A/S and Hevico A/S in Denmark were merged and operated along with Sig. Ágústsson ehf in Iceland under a new name Agustson.

Agustson will be an ambitious company founded on conservative principles, producing highest quality products from best available raw-materials. Our area of expertise will continue to be production of shellfish-, smoked trout-, saltfish and caviar products.

As we are convinced that the merger and the new name will strengthen our operation, we hope that it will not cause our good business relationship any inconvenience
