AHD is a registered wholesaler and distributor of veterinary medicinal products. Their extensive veterinary professional portfolio of authorised products, includes vaccines, antimicrobials, anticoccidials, antiparasitics, anti-inflammatories, trace elements, haematinic products and many more.
AHD operate from Carlow and have a dedicated staff of professionally qualified persons across the veterinary, pharmacological, regulatory and commercial sectors. They offer a specialist veterinary medicinal service to the veterinary profession in Ireland in both the supply and sourcing of veterinary medicines.
AHD has partnerships in place with a number of licensed wholesalers and licensed manufacturers of veterinary medicines in Europe. In addition, AHD has experience working with Sponsoring Companies (Marketing Authorisation Holders) in the importation of a number of veterinary medicinal products under the AR 16 provision of the European Communities (Animal Remedies) (No2) Regulations 2007 and corresponding Article 7 of Directive 2001/82/EC.
