The AI Safety Foundation ("AISF")'s mission is to increase awareness and scientific understanding of the catastrophic risks of AI by advancing education and research to ensure a safer future for humanity. As a registered nonprofit organization, we work to create positive change through educational initiatives, research support, and public awareness campaigns. A cornerstone of our educational mission is The Hinton Lectures™ (https://hintonlectures.com), an annual program that launched in 2024 and which brings together leading experts in AI safety to share cutting-edge thought leadership and insights with students, researchers, and the public. This prestigious lecture series represents our commitment to fostering informed dialogue about AI safety and its implications for humanity's future.
