AI-Tech Lab

The AI-Tech Research Lab of Politecnico di Milano, led by professor Manuel Roveri. We are guided by the goal of making neural network architectures and training simpler and more robust in technologically constrained and time-varying, dynamic environments. Our research scope comprises: -Adaptive Neural Networks: neural networks able to adjust their parameters and structure dynamically based on changing inputs or environments; -Neural Architecture Search (NAS): automatic design of neural network architectures; -Privacy-Preserving Deep Learning with Homomorphic Encryption (PPDL-HE): deep learning on encrypted data (privacy); -Time series analysis: extracting meaningful summary and statistical information from points arranged in chronological order; -Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML): ML on tiny devices (e.g., Internet of Things).
