About AICIB - Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation Agency
Who is AICIB?
AICIB aims to be a National and European reference in clinical research and biomedical innovation. Our Mission is to promote, coordinate and support activities in the areas of clinical and translational research (CI&T) and biomedical innovation, contributing to the optimization of Portugal's clinical, scientific and technological potential.
The purpose of AICIB is to support the national interest of IC&T and biomedical innovation by promoting its development and internationalization. AICIB also helps streamlining R&D activities and cooperation between health care units, health administration organizations, regulators, research institutions, academic institutions and several other relevant stakeholders.
