AI Forum New Zealand | Te Kāhui Atamai Iahiko o Aotearoa brings together Aotearoa's artificial intelligence community—more than 280 members from industry, academia, and government working to advance the AI ecosystem through connections, advocacy, growing talent, and collaboration.

As an active part of Tech New Zealand, we're part of a connected network of 16 communities representing thousands of organisations and tens of thousands of workers nationwide. Together, we bring our expertise to ensure technology is shaped in ways that serve our people, our places, and our future.
Since 2017, we've built a reputation as a trusted partner across sectors, promoting the economic opportunities raised by AI while ensuring society can adapt responsibly to the rapid changes AI brings.
Our 8 Working Groups drive thought leadership across AI governance, generative AI, the AI Blueprint for Aotearoa, AI for the environment, and sector-specific adoption. We bring AI to life through influential research, practical guidance, major events including the annual Aotearoa AI Summit and NZ-wide AI Hackathon Festivals, and resources like our AIGovernance microsite (aigovernance.aiforum.org.nz)
