About Art is my CareerĀ® (AIMC)
Art is my CareerĀ® merges the traditional work and running of a creative agency with the morals, ethics and working of a Community Interest Company.
We use our profits to create resources for teachers, parents and students supporting arts and culture education and development to help plug the education, knowledge and skills gap created by arts education funding cuts.
With over 10 years of creative industry experience, we're able to deliver brands to give teams confidence for development, create connections for growth and build reputation through design.
Our work spans global, national and local businesses, charities and community organisations.
Our community programme aims to bridge the skill, knowledge and resource gap between education and industry while also instilling pride in the creative community by showcasing the diverse creative talent.
Our primary target audience is young people aged between 13 ā 18 who are considering their exam options and career choices, however resources are available to anyone with an interest in the creative industry. We also work with secondary schools, and FE & HE institutes.
Through the programme, we directly address key issues identified by PEC, in particular āCareers and Technical Education Reformsā. We also support teachers in their efforts to link curriculum learning to careers (Gatsby Benchmark 4).
AIMC focuses on providing practical, hands-on advice and engaging interactive course materials (complete with lesson plans), highlighting the wealth of opportunities in the sector.
These resources are available FREE to teachers and educational institutes from our website.
āArt is my Careerā is a registered trademark.
