About All India Sustainable Development Council (AISDC)
All India Sustainable Development Council (AISDC) is one of India’s most trusted and nationally recognized non-profit organizations, committed to advancing sustainable development in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). AISDC operates as a Public Trust under a Section 8 Company with the legal name Sustainable Development Social Foundation, registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Our parent organization, Kanethara Trusts, was founded in 2005 and legally registered in 2016, carrying forward a legacy of social responsibility and global impact.
AISDC is dedicated to implementing, monitoring, and promoting all 17 UN SDGs, making us the only non-profit organization in India with complete compliance frameworks aligned directly to the UN SDG mandates. Our mission is to bridge policy, partnerships, and grassroots action to create measurable and sustainable change across social, environmental, and economic sectors.
We are proudly registered with 40+ global agencies and international institutions under the United Nations and the European Commission. Our special accreditations and associations include UNODC, WTO, OECD, UNDESA, UNDGC, UN-Habitat, UNDRR, and participation in the Global Tourism Plastics Initiative under the joint leadership of UNEP and UNWTO, along with engagement in platforms such as the World Water Congress and other high-level global forums.
AISDC serves as a global platform for governments, institutions, corporations, and civil society to collaborate on sustainability-driven initiatives, policy advocacy, climate action, responsible tourism, water conservation, social justice, and inclusive economic development. We stand as a bridge between India and the international sustainability ecosystem, transforming global commitments into impactful local action.
