About Aga Khan Agency for Habitat Pakistan (AKAHP)

The Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) is an apex agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) mandated to address the impacts of climate change, and create safe and sustainable habitats that provide opportunities for prosperity and wellbeing to the communities it serves both in rural and urban contexts.

Established in 2016, AKAH brings together several AKDN agencies and programmes that had been working on habitat, disaster preparedness and humanitarian assistance since early 1990s, including Focus Humanitarian Assistance, Aga Khan Planning and Building Services, the Disaster Risk Management Initiative, and the Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan Fund for the Environment.
