Almajarah was established in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Iraq on Novermber 15, 2007
Its main objective since its inception was to strengthen and stimulate trade and economic movement to and from the region and contribute effectively to the development of foreign trade with neighboring countries and the region.
Providing job opportunities for young people is the other goal of the company.
After success in the first year of operation, other branches of the company were opened in the cities of Erbil, Baghdad and Basra.
