Alabama Scenic River Trail, ASRT

The Alabama Scenic River Trail, Inc. (ASRT) is a nonprofit working to build community development efforts centered on water recreation and tourism in Alabama. ASRT emphasizes all of Alabama’s navigable waterways by sharing unique opportunities, resources, and educational content with all levels of the public. The historic trail for which we are named runs from the Alabama-Georgia state line to the Gulf of Mexico—from mountain streams and multi-class whitewater to river delta and the salty waves of Mobile Bay. The Great AL650, our annual paddle race, is held each fall bringing in professional paddlers from around the globe. Join with us as we celebrate the network of more than 132,000 miles of rivers and streams that make up Alabama.
