About ALAC (Alliance pour l'accueil et l'intégration des immigrants-es)

ALAC is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1983. Our mission is to provide support services for immigrants, refugees and members of diverse cultural communities during their adaptation and socioeconomic integration processes to the host society. We offer a multitude of services for free and in several languages: • Employability Service: preparation for job search • French language courses (part time) • Social integration services Our services are given as: • Individual consultations • Group Sessions Our team consists of integration, employment, and career counselors. We adopt an intercultural approach tailored to customers’ needs by leveraging on openness, respect and commitment values. We are very connected in the local community. The social involvement and partnership development are very important to us whether in the CDN-NDG borough or throughout the whole city of Montreal.
