About Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association
The Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association (AFFPA) is the voice of agritourism and direct farm marketing in Alberta. We represent a vibrant and diverse membership of producers. From fruit and vegetable growers to livestock farmers, apiaries, wineries, and agritourism destinations.
Our mission is to grow Alberta’s diversified agriculture sector by advocating for our members, enhancing public awareness, and creating new opportunities for farm-direct sales and experiences.
We support local farms through strategic marketing initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and member-exclusive programs like bulk berry plant orders and the Annual Growers’ Webinar Series. Our association works year-round to promote members, share resources, and host professional development events, including our signature Annual Conference and Farm Tours.
AFFPA’s services include:
• Membership recruitment, retention, and promotion
• Communications and stakeholder engagement
• Event planning and coordination
• Marketing campaigns and advocacy strategies
• Website, newsletter, and social media management
• Professional development and agritourism data tracking
• Bulk plant procurement and logistics
• Grant support and sponsorship outreach
